Who am I? I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, having completed a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am a Chartered member of The British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I abide by their ethics and code of conduct. Psychology isn’t my only passion. I love the outdoors and rock climbing, I'm also a fully qualified personal trainer, utilizing this knowledge for my personal well-being. Alongside my practice I’m a qualified Mindfulness Teacher, offering mindfulness programmes to large and small organisations. I'm passionate about psychology and working with people. In my work I strive to be present, open and in contact, flexible, creative, daring, compassionate, playful, curious and calm, freed up of my own inhibitions, at times allowing myself to be vulnerable. I nurture an environment where my clients feel safe and comfortable. I see overall the goal of therapy to help people achieve a free-flowing personality, where thoughts, actions and feelings are integrated in ways that allows people to overcome their limitations, and to live meaningful lives.
