How Can I Help You?
If you’ve found me through a recommendation or your own search, the first question to ask yourself is: Do I have any questions about counselling psychology, or about how I work and how I can help? If you do, I encourage you to reach out. You can contact me via the contact form or by phone, and I aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right therapist for you, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions, explore your concerns, and determine if I’m a good fit for your therapeutic needs. Initial Assessment Our first meeting will be an initial assessment, where we’ll discuss your goals, aspirations, and the challenges you’ve been experiencing. This session also gives you a chance to get a feel for what it’s like to work with me. During this session, we’ll work together to decide on the most appropriate therapeutic approach for you and agree on how long the therapy might last. Therapy Process If we decide to proceed with therapy, we can determine whether you’d prefer to work within a fixed time frame or in a more open-ended way. Most clients see me on a weekly basis, though some choose to attend therapy twice a week if that works better for them. The frequency of our sessions is flexible and can be adjusted based on your needs. Ending Therapy We will typically conclude therapy either at the end of the agreed-upon time or after reviewing progress if we are working long-term. In either case, we will work collaboratively to ensure you feel confident in your progress and prepared to move forward. |
